Good News about Schabarum Park

They are willing to have our group of 500+ scouts camp there on 
Apr 28-30 

BUT

The park is already reserved for a different group of Scouts and so we
would be sharing the facilities. There will be an additional charge
because the two groups would necessitate the use of an overflow camping
area.  The charge is about $300 more than last years $250 but still
cheaper than the alternate cost of our second choice site.

We can have it all to ourselves on May 5-7.

I'll keep working with the park to nail down the details.

The next camporee meeting will be on Feb 1st. We will be discussing the
events, so come with plenty of ideas. It will start at 7 PM, and is at
the westside service center (the scout shop). I hope as many people can
come as possible.
