I think the project is very well worked out, although I have the same concerns that Ami does about the necessity for followup.  Possibly John can answer these questions (maybe the Friends of the Wetlands will be maintaining the irrigation).

The project is certainly worthwhile, and will have long-term benefits for the community.

BTW, Peter Karuppiah has a great idea he is working on, Gabe is thinking  
about a project, I have called Jeremy to try to get him restarted, Jon Diamond's  
project is in progress, and Michael Winston just needs Patti's signature to 
turn  in his application.
