[Eagleprojects] Robbie's Project

Robin and I have read Robbie's proposal carefully. It looks well thought out and feasible. We do, however, have some concerns:
(a) The location -- the Culver Crest was "hit" on three occasions in the last four months (Michael Winston's food drive, a Girl Scout Gold Award project, and our troop's spaghetti dinner ticket sales). While this may not be a problem, it still merits some thought... possibly a shift to another part of Culver City?
(b) Knocking on doors -- this can be annoying, and/or perceived as an intrusion on people's privacy. Michael's experience tells us that a letter of explanation attached to the bag, plus a mid-week written reminder, worked well. If the deliverers happen to talk to a homeowner, this is fine... but it is neither expected nor required, because the cover letter explains everything. If Robbie decides to go with "personal contact," he should keep in mind that Scouts who participate should be in Class A uniform and display Class A behavior. (This is sometimes a challenge.)
Please don't take this as severe criticism -- just as suggestions for consideration. We think it's an excellent idea for a project.
