Hi,
In reading all the comments I do agree with the suggestions. It is up to Casey to make sure that it happens within the time period. I know that he is also working on some merit badges. How is he doing toward the completion of those? He started Communications with me about two or three weeks ago and I have not heard back from him.
Thanks,
Ami

Has he checked with the schools and the district yet to even see if they will let him set up the collection boxes? What is his contingency plan if they do not allow it? (Remember the problems Jon Brownstein had with his book collection efforts a few years ago.)

I told him that most of the time it takes three to four weeks to insure an adequate response from those wishing to donate. Then, he needs to add in the time needed to sort out the coats since some will not be in a condition worthy of donation. Add to this the time needed to write up the final report and the review process and I fear Casey has misjudged his time by more than a month.
