As I said in the first e-mail, Carole and I can't meet on Monday.  She has class and I have a meeting.  If Tuesday is out, let's find another date.  Again, that is fine if we feel that he is not ready but we need to spell it out to them.  Carole feels that Drake was not told that or maybe he did not hear it.  Carole did say that Drake brought in papers and that he was not told to do the writeup to be submitted to you and the Advancement committee.  I know that he needs more leadership but that needs to be spelled out to them.  Carole is looking at what the eagle documentation says and she feels that with the completion of his current leadership as Patrol Leader and the merit badges along with the project he could apply for Eagle next fall.  I tried to tell her that our troop prefers that the scouts complete the prerequisites prior to doing the project.  Anyway, let's find a meeting time and move on.  Sorry I was unable to make the committee meeting but we were at the TSM swim banquet.
