Today the Scouts stayed in camp and worked on their Merit Badges and rank advancement.

A few of the Scouts have mild sunburn from the beach yesterday. They were using sunscreen, but forgot to reapply. 
I had some aloe vera gel picked up to help relieve the sunburn.

We had a Bar-B-Que on the beach for dinner. The Scouts then went to the campfire.

Some of the Scouts are running out of money as illustrated here:

Scout (S): Can I have $20 for my leatherwork project?

Mike Gaines (M): You do not have enough money in the bank.

S: Yes I do. I started with $60 in the bank.

M: No. Your parents only gave me $40 and you have $5 left.

S: I know they gave you $60.

M: I counted and recorded the money in front of your parents. How much money do you have on you?

S: 50 cents.

M: Better find a friend to loan you some money.

The Scouts, especially Eli are getting their mail and the e-mails sent to the Scouts have also been read by them and some are even sending replies home.

We will see what Thursday brings.
