Hi Campers!

A couple of extra hints for Emerald Bay:

(1) You can use "white-out" to mark your name and phone number on dark-
    colored sleeping bags and duffels.

(2) If you want hiking boots at camp, pack them.  You are not supposed to wear
    them on the boat.

(3) Anti-ant trick:  Ants love to climb up cot legs and interrupt your beauty sleep.
    An effective way to deter them is this.  Bring four empty tuna cans (or other
    small cans).  At camp, you'll fill them about halfway with water and add some
    liquid soap or shampoo.  The critters will crawl into the cans... they can float
    but the soap kills them.

(4) Do not -- repeat, do not -- bring electronic games, cell phones, etc. to camp.
    They may be confiscated... or worse, they may be stolen.  Leave 'em at home.
    Believe it or not, you WILL survive one week without electronic entertainment!
