Dear Parents of Flaming Dragons Patrol members,
First-of-all, welcome to Ethan Wolfson, the newest member of the Flaming Dragons
patrol. We're looking forward to another great year.
As some of you know, I play in a band. We usually play one or two gigs a month.
Last year, there were no conflicts with scout campouts and I was able to attend
all of them. This year however, I already have a conflict with the patrol
campout, October 1-2.
There must always be at least two adults on a campout. Normally, Eric and other
parents from the troop attend and, if I am the only Flaming Dragons parent, it's
o.k. However, because this is a campout just for our patrol, two parents must
go to Camp Josepho or the campout cannot happen. You would be going to the camp
on Saturday morning and would likely leave before mid-day on Sunday. Because of
the facilities available at Josepho, it's pretty easy as campouts go.
This e-mail is partly a test to see if it is getting to all of you so, PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS E-MAIL whether or not you can go. We don't have a lot of time so I hope
to hear from you soon. If you have any questions, do e-mail me back (or call at
310-838-7766).
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Jim Snodgrass
Patrol Advisor
