We will also continue our weekly conditioning hike at Jefferson and Hetzler each Wednesday at 6 PM. I would like to meet with ALL of the Adults and Scouts going to Philmont this Wednesday, June 15th at 7:30 PM to discuss conditioning hikes. This should be a short meeting. It is raining here for a little bit every afternoon in the form of thunder showers. Yesterday afternoon, a bolt of lightening hit a tree at the Training Center while I was at my conference in another part of the Training Center. Temperatures have been in the 80s and 90s during the day with low humidity except during the thunderstorms. The lows have been in the low 50s. My Conference is going to tour Rocky Mountain Scout Camp, home of the National Junior Leader Training Conference that trains Scouts to lead JLTCs in their local Councils. I will also be meeting with the Head of Boy Scout Advancement from the National office on Thursday afternoon. I am having a great time here. I hope that you are all conditioning for our Trek which is about one month away. Five years ago today, our Troop started it's last Philmont Trek, Expedition 629A. We will be Expeditions 803R1 and 803R2. I am going to Camping HQ this morning to ask questions about our Trek. E-Mail me any questions or information requests that you have and I will try to get the answers to your questions if possible. The wireless network at the Training Center is hard to get logged onto. See you when I return. I hope that some of you will be hiking tonight. Erik -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
