Hi, this is Robbie Shilton. I am planning on performing my Eagle project on April 15 and April 21, 2007. To complete this project I am collecting clothing for the Jewish War Veteran?s U.S.A. Friendship Post #617. They provide men?s and women?s clothing for Veterans from all wars and distribute them through the W.L.A. Veterans Hospital. For this project to be a success I NEED YOUR HELP! The project will happen in two phases. Phase One ? Sunday, April 15th ? 12:45 to 3:00 p.m. Meet at Lindberg Park at the picnic tables. We will break into groups to distribute collection bags to houses in the neighborhood. I need as many scouts as possible to make this go quickly. I also could use 3 to 4 adults to drive the scouts to the various streets. We will meet back at the picnic tables for snacks. Phase Two ? Saturday, April 21st ? 12:45 to 5:00 p.m. Meet at Lindberg Park at the picnic tables. We will again form groups to collect the bags from those houses that have left contributions and leave thank you notes for the donors. We will take all of the clothes back to the Scout Shack to sort and inspect them. We will provide food and drinks for all who help. I will again need 4 or 5 adults with larger cars, pick-up trucks or SUV?s to help collect the clothes and bring them over to the Scout Shack. I hope you will be able to help me make the project happen since I won?t be able to do it without you. Dress for both days is Class B.
